The Petals of theIndigo Rose
Each petal of the indigo rose represents a layer, a season, and a spiritual story in the journey of a woman.
Every petal comes from the original indigo rose and carries with it a significant story—one that belongs to a particular season and its appointed time.
We approach each season gracefully and gently, allowing each petal to unfold in the divine timing assigned to it.
Each letter that follows is a petal of that journey.
The Divine Correspondence

The Pen of the Ready Writer
“My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.”
— Psalm 45:1, KJV
The Pen of the Ready Writer represents the matters indited upon my heart and given to me to speak and to write. Some come through dreams, visions, spiritual revelation, and angelic communication. I write what is given to me, what I hear, and what I see.
When I write, I am also speaking. My tongue becomes the pen of a ready writer—teaching, preaching, edifying, encouraging, correcting, and giving voice to what has been placed within my heart.

The Flowing Water
The flowing waters represent the spiritual life that flows from within when the spirit is in a place of wellness, clarity, and well-being.
Often, the spirit of wisdom speaks by revealing water-when I awaken in the morning, before my feet touch the floor, I see water in my spirit—flowing water and waterfalls. In that still place, the spirit is alert, and revelation begins to come from within and flow outward.
The water represents that continual flow: seeing, hearing, receiving, and then writing what has been revealed.

I Wrestled Until the Blessing Came

Kimberly Grace, Seer, Apostle of God- The Pen of a Ready Writer
After my mother transitioned on October 21, 2017, I began moving out of the nursing community and into the therapeutic massage community. My professional background was in nursing, hospice care, Alzheimer’s care, and dementia care. Alzheimer’s and dementia were my specialties. After leaving that community, I became a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist.
I began my massage career at Massage Envy’s Tenleytown clinic on Wisconsin Avenue in Washington, D.C. Many people begin a job or career and remain there for twenty or thirty years before retiring. My life has never unfolded that way. Throughout my journey, I rarely remained in one position longer than three years. Three years always seemed to be my point of transition. For a long time, I did not understand why, but that was the pattern of my life.
I began working at Massage Envy in July 2023 and remained there until June 30, 2026. Even while working there, I could feel an awakening taking place within me. At the same time, I was building my own massage practice. Immediately after graduating from the Northern Virginia School of Therapeutic Massage in Fairfax County, Virginia, I opened the practice I had dreamed of creating. I did not wait. I opened it immediately.
My practice began as Emerald Massage Studio. It later became Emerald Massage and Lymphatic Wellness, LLC. From that vision, another division was established: Emerald Mobile Recovery and Lymphatic Care, LLC.
By this time, I had advanced considerably in my professional skill set. I was no longer only a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist. My credentials had expanded to include LMBT — Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist; MLDP — Manual Lymphatic Drainage Practitioner; and MMP — Medical Massage Practitioner. These are my professional credentials now, and I am deeply grateful and profoundly blessed.
On April 1, 2026, I submitted a ninety-day resignation letter. June 30, 2026, became my final day — the date of my transition out of Massage Envy and into the full-time work of building my own practice.
When I later reflected on the fact that I had submitted a ninety-day resignation notice, I realized how significant that decision was. Most people do not give ninety days’ notice. They may give two weeks or thirty days. But I gave ninety.
At the time, I was moving in and out of fear and doubt about leaving. Massage Envy had become a familiar and dependable source of income in my mind. I was highly skilled and in demand because of my expertise in manual lymphatic drainage and lymphedema care. I served clients whose needs could not easily be met by other massage therapists because they did not have the same specialized training.
My hourly rate was $27 per hour, but what I had become especially accustomed to was the daily flow of gratuities. My tips could total approximately $2,000 during a pay period. Some clients tipped $60. Others tipped $100 for a service. That money was received regularly, and I became very comfortable with that financial rhythm. This was separate from my paycheck. It was the daily cash flow I had learned to depend upon, and that comfort became part of what held me within the system.
My humanity was saying, “I need this money.” But the spiritual part of me was saying, “This job is not your source. God is your source.”
That inner conflict is why I did not submit a two-week or thirty-day notice. I gave myself ninety days because I needed time to walk through the transition mentally, emotionally, financially, and spiritually. I needed time to confront the fear, move through the doubt, and release the belief that the job was the source of my provision.
Those ninety days became part of my spiritual preparation. God was gracious enough to allow me that time. I was not forced out abruptly. I was given space to walk through the process, prepare my mind, and transition with intention. For that grace, I am deeply thankful.
As July 24, 2026, approached, I had been away from Massage Envy for only a few weeks. I was still gathering my bearings, recovering my faith, moving forward in faith, and reconditioning my mind and consciousness to think differently. I had come out from under a system. There were no longer the same restrictions. I was no longer living in resistance. I was no longer under someone else’s control, particularly regarding my time.
On the morning of July 24, 2026, I awakened and decided to go for a walk. There had been a time when I walked often. I would meditate and remain near the waterfront for hours. Walking and being near the water were important parts of my spiritual stillness.
That morning, I did not have much time because I had a client scheduled for 9:30 a.m. I left for my walk at approximately 7:45 a.m. While walking, I noticed that my hip was bothering me. I had never experienced hip problems before, but I continued walking without giving the discomfort much attention.
After returning home to Carlisle, Pennsylvania, I took a hot lavender bath. I hoped the warmth of the water would help my hip recover and allow my muscles to relax. But when I awakened the following morning, the discomfort had increased. Now both of my hips were hurting, deep within the sockets. When I walked, it felt as though someone had struck me across my hips and thighs.
The pain was sudden and unfamiliar. I had not fallen. I had not injured myself. I had not performed any unusual exercise that would explain what I was feeling. On Friday, July 24, I first noticed discomfort in one hip. By Saturday, July 25, both hips and thighs were causing me difficulty. I did not yet understand the connection.
Then, on Sunday morning, July 26, 2026, I awakened at 9:09 a.m. I entered a place of meditation, prayer, stillness, and spiritual introspection. I allowed myself to rest and enjoy the quiet because I have learned that, within stillness, I am able to see more clearly. In stillness, I connect with God. I connect with myself. I receive clarity. I receive guidance concerning my next step.
During this time, I began to pray in my spiritual language — a native tongue that has been with me for many years. It is a language of prayer and communication, but it is different from my natural speech. It flows spiritually, even when I cannot interpret every word being spoken.
As I prayed, several words emerged that I could understand: Indigo. Esther. Mordecai. Shepherd. There were many other sounds, words, and expressions that I could neither interpret nor articulate, but the language continued to flow.
Because the words I understood carried biblical and spiritual significance, I began to research them. I searched the scriptures and followed the references that drew my attention. During that research, I began looking for the spiritual meaning of a tent because I had seen a tent — or perhaps several tents — within the vision.
As I studied, my eyes were drawn immediately to the word thigh. The word caught my attention because, at that very moment, my thighs and hips were hurting. I was led to Genesis 32:25. The reference spoke of Jacob wrestling through the night and being touched in the hollow of his thigh.
As I continued reading, I came to a passage that was already familiar to me — a passage I had known by heart for many years. I began to tear up. I cleared my eyes and read:
“And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob’s thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him. And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me. And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob. And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed. And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there. And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.”

When I read those words — especially verse 25 — I began to understand the revelation connected to my first letter and to what I was being called to write.
Jacob wrestled through the night. He would not let go until he received the blessing. He emerged from that encounter changed. His thigh had been touched, his walk was altered, his name was changed, and he received a blessing.
Throughout my own life, I have often experienced biblical passages not only as ancient scripture, but also as spiritual illustrations that become visible within the circumstances of the present. As I write this letter, both of my hips are still causing me discomfort. When I walk, the pain slows my movement. But from within this experience, I also received the blessing of an awakening at 9:09.
I began to see a reflection of my own journey within Jacob’s story. For years, I wrestled with leaving the controlled environment of Massage Envy. I wrestled with financial security. I wrestled with fear. I wrestled with doubt. I wrestled with the familiarity of receiving regular income and substantial gratuities. I wrestled with the belief that the employment system was the source that sustained me.
Three years may not seem long to everyone, but for me, three years within one employment setting was significant. In my spirit, I knew that Massage Envy was not meant to be my permanent path. Yet I remained. In many ways, I felt that I had stayed beyond the time when I first began sensing the call to move forward. I wrestled with the transition until I was finally able to release the system and step fully into the work that had been placed within me.
Like Jacob, I did not leave the wrestling unchanged. My walk changed. My understanding changed. My relationship with provision changed. My identity changed. And within the discomfort, I received an awakening.
I believe it is important for spiritually sensitive individuals to understand the timing and mind of God — to recognize the grace and sovereignty that remain present throughout their lives and within their purpose. A delay does not always mean that the purpose has been lost. A struggle does not always mean that the path is wrong. A season of wrestling may be the very place where fear is confronted, identity is transformed, and a blessing is revealed.
Jacob entered the night with one name and emerged with another. He entered walking one way and left walking differently. He entered wrestling for his blessing and emerged knowing that he had encountered God.
I, too, have wrestled. I wrestled with the system. I wrestled with security. I wrestled with control. I wrestled with myself. But I did not wrestle without purpose. And I did not emerge without a blessing.
The purpose is to serve. It is the spiritual purpose to heal. It is the spiritual purpose of revealing what is naturally before you, while also uncovering the spiritual meaning that may be resting behind it, so that you may walk more clearly upon your path and see more clearly throughout your spiritual journey.
When I received this revelation concerning my thighs through the scriptures, I felt blessed. I felt honored. I felt protected. I felt well kept and preserved. Preserved.
I began to understand that even within discomfort, I was being guided. I was not alone in the experience. I was being shown how something occurring naturally within my body could lead me toward a deeper spiritual understanding of my journey.
I now understand that this letter is for those who are walking along similar spiritual paths. It is for those who are wrestling. It is for those who are transitioning. It is for those whose movement has slowed and who may not yet understand why. It is for those who are learning to recognize the spiritual meaning within the natural circumstances before them.
Much grace is needed along this journey. Much enlightenment is needed. And much love is needed.
May this letter offer grace to those who are struggling, enlightenment to those who are seeking, and love to those who need the strength to continue walking. May they understand that they are being kept. May they understand that they are being protected. May they understand that they are being preserved. And may they continue walking until the blessing is revealed.
With grace, wisdom, and love,
Kimberly Grace

The Message I Received
4:54 A.M. — I Awaken
Tuesday Letter of Faith: Overflow
Published July 28, 2026
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” — John 1:1, KJV
Author’s Reflection
I awakened at 4:54 a.m., and almost immediately the time changed to 4:55. I received 4:54 as angelic communication and as a personal message of stability, transition, continued building, and remaining spiritually grounded while positive change unfolds.
The message came after a full day of building the professional partnership and referral packet for Emerald Massage & Lymphatic Wellness, LLC and Emerald Mobile Recovery & Lymphatic Care, LLC. At the same time, I was confronting fear about my practice rent, my home rent, and the visible amounts in my personal and business accounts. I had no natural reserve to fall back on. That is where the Word met me.
